We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Safford, AZ dedicated to sharing Hispanic history, art, music, and food while providing vital social services and college scholarships to our community.
Founded by Guadalupe Munoz and Michael Andazola to bring families together, the Eastern Arizona Hispanic Heritage Corp. promotes, celebrates, and teaches Hispanic culture. Through personal contact, media, and events, we present and share our people, history, art, architecture, music, dance, and food.
We recognize and award individuals and groups who have made lasting contributions to the welfare and sustainment of the culture. Our core principle is simple: to ensure no one winds up overlooked or unhelped.
"Our staff all share the same passion for an improved community. No matter the department, the case, or the hour of the day, every arm of our organisation always puts forth our best effort to help others improve their lives. We want to be there for you or your loved ones, even when it feels like no one else is."
Partnering with Eastern Arizona College, we host annual Hispanic Heritage Month events featuring live mariachi music, cultural speakers, and community gatherings.
We promote continued education by encouraging youth and funding local college scholarships. We also present awards to outstanding community leaders.
We understand many need social aid. We provide services to locals in a tight spot, empowering them to better themselves through meaningful, supportive activities.
Whether you want to volunteer, attend a festival, or make a tax-deductible donation, your support sustains our culture and uplifts our neighbors in Safford and beyond.
Need support? Looking to partner with us? Get in touch to schedule an appointment. We are open to working with people who want to offer social services or help in ways beyond physical volunteering.
